A program that began in the US, the "Go Further 4UR Community" program has been very successful in the past with overwhelming positive feedback. Lynford is proud to be one of the first dealerships to participate and give back to the community in a fun and interactive way.
The 4UR Community program is designed for the purpose of providing much needed funds to our local community centres whilst at the same time promoting the fantastic new range of Ford cars by creating a stress free environment to experience them.
Giving Back to the Community
- Lynford will organise test drives of the Ford range at any suitable event in the clubs or schools calendar year.
- Our team will donate $40 for each test drive to the school or sporting club.
- The maximum donation is up to $2000 per event.
St Kieran's Catholic Primary School
To kick off the program, we partnered with St Kieran Catholic Primary School. WA's first Ford “Go Further 4UR Community” drive was held at the school's Fete - a major event set up by the school with the support of its community on the 14th of April. The fete featured rides, stalls, entertainment and international food stalls.
A large number of parents and other visitors attended this event and through their support Lynford managed to raise $3,000 (maximum under the pilot program) for St. Kieran by conducting 66 test drives. We wish to thank all who supported us on the day to reach this goal.
“This is a great thing that Lynford is doing, more businesses should do things such as this for their local community” said Tania Cleverly – Head of St. Kieran Dream Maker program. St Kieran Catholic Primary School is located at the corner of Cape and Tyler Streets, Tuart Hill.
Yokine Primary School
Lynford Osborne Park, held its 2nd “Go Further 4UR Community” (GF4URC) event at the Yokine Primary School Fete on Sunday the 23rd of March 2014.
Lynford successfully conduct over 50 test drives to raise $2000 for Yokine Primary the maximum amount offered through the program.
Dealer Principal, Henry Brown said “The whole team at Lynford is very proud to have been involved in this event, prouder still, to be able to hand something back into our community. The team at Yokine Primary worked very hard to create a fantastic day and produce a super result for their school. We look forward to our next Go Further event.”
The staff members at Yokine Primary School, its students and their parents were extremely pleased of the efforts of the Lynford team and were extremely grateful to receive the donation.
